TOWARDS UNDERSTANDING THE QUR’ĀN abridged version is a fresh English rendering of Tafhīm al-Qur’ān, Sayyid Mawdūdīʾs monumental and masterly Urdu translation of the Qur’ān and a selection of his commentary.
